Beauty Shop/Barber

The Beauty shop is open every Thursday by Cheri Broughten. She does an excellent job of not only keeping our lady residents looking beautiful, but providing them with a good time and lasting friendship!  The Barber shop is open once a month by Jim Johnson for the gentlemen who choose to use him.

 

 

 

This room serves many purposes for our residents; from enjoying the sunshine to doing puzzles and playing games in a cozy atmosphere.  This is also a great place for friends and family to gather for a nice visit.

 

 

 

NRCC provides physical, occupational and speech therapy to each of our residents. We use ITS as our therapy provider. They do a wonderful job working with our residents who need specialized assistance learning or strengthening skills to maximize independence and safety while enabling them to be as independent as possible.

 

 

Van Availability

NRCC has their own 8 passenger van that is used for resident outings as well as trips to the local clinic. The activities department has scheduled van trips to show residents area Christmas lights, lakes, fall colors etc.

 

 

Courtyard

At NRCC you will find a courtyard area where residents can go to enjoy the sunshine or shade. There are flowers and plants to enjoy and watch grow during the summer months.  This is an excellent place to have a family picnic in the summer!   

 

Dining

NRCC has a very comfortable dining area with a mural of farm life and buildings on the main wall.  The dining area has a beautiful wood floor and adjustable tables to suit each resident.  Whether enjoying your meals, visiting with family and friends over a cup of coffee or playing a card game with the activity staff, the dining room is a great place to gather.

 

 

 

Our spacious chapel provides the perfect backdrop for weekly non-denominational worship services. Area pastors lead the worship services on a rotational basis. We also have monthly Lutheran communion service, weekly Rosary and Bible Study.
