Department Managers
 Administrator- Mikenzi Hebel Mikenzi was hired in June of 2010 as the Nursing Home Administrator for the New Richland Care Center. She began her career after she graduated from college at Minnesota State University, Mankato in May of 2005 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Long Term Care Management and Marketing. She completed her internship as an Administrator in Training right here in Southern Minnesota with the Good Samaritan Society and earned her Administrator’s license in the spring of 2008. She thoroughly loves every minute she gets to visit with a resident or family member. |
 Business Office Manager- Jeanne Waldhauser Jeanne has been at New Richland Care Center for 25 years. She works on payroll, Medicare, MA as well as other insurances. She runs every aspect of the Business Office including accounts receivable for the entire facility. Jeanne enjoys the challenges of being administrative assistant. |
 Social Services Director- Penni Mueller Penni began her career in the Nursing Home industry as a Certified Nursing Assistant right after high school, working 10 years in Albert Lea while going to Austin Community College and Mankato State University. She graduated in 1991 with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work. Penni then worked in Owatonna for 14 years in many capacities, Activity/Social Services Assistant, TMA, and Director of Social Services. She started at the NRCC in May of 2005. She had always thought it would be a great place to work and now calls this area home. Her children attend the New Richland School District and she enjoys being able to work in the same area her children go to school in. |
 Activities Director-Kathy Flor Kathy has been at New Richland Care Center for 30 years. She was hired at NRCC in November of 1980 as a CNA and worked both the evening and day shift full time. In 1989 Kathy began working in the Activities department and in 2003 became the Activities Director. Kathy is a member of S.W.A.P. (State Wide Activity Professionals) and RAPA (Regional Activity Professional Association). |
 Environmental Services Director- Brad Malcolm Brad came to the New Richland Care Center in December of 2009. He has several years of experience in industrial maintenance as well as specifically Care Center maintenance. Brad enjoys interacting with the residents and finds pride in being able to help provide our residents with a safe and comfortable environment. |
 Director of Nursing- Melissa Warner Melissa has been in the nursing field for almost 20 years. She started out as a CNA in long term care and then went to school to earn her LPN. She decided to go back to school to obtain her RN from South Central College in Faribault, MN and then continued to work in the long term care industry and assisted living for 16 years. She has been in a management position for the last 7 years, and thoroughly enjoys working with the elderly population. |
 Dietary Manager- Bonnie Ellickson Bonnie was hired with the New Richland Care Center as a cook and worked her way up to Dietary Manager in July of 2011. She is a mother of three and has worked in the long term care setting for ten years and has worked in pretty much every job associated with the kitchen and dietary department which gives her a real knowledge of the entire workings of the kitchen. She has experienced working in four different nursing homes and is excited for the opportunity to be the NRCC Dietary Manager. |

Kelly Vanmaldeghem - Business Office Assistant
Kelly has worked at the New Richland Care Center since 1999, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant on the evening shift. After a few years she decided to become full-time on the day shift.
